I read this along with my morning reflections and found myself reading the recipe for the next phase of my life in my here and now. Getting clear on my responsibilities, sharing, being held accountable, living with purpose and focusing my attention/energy/time/resources on something that makes a difference. My baby trees. Trees and horses...my greatest passions. Not always compatible though I have learned which species my herd will NOT forage on. That's progress! I am looking forward to checking out your link and sharing my good intentions to be followed by my attention and energy and cooperative spirit! Thanks for yet another inspiring read. I took note!!!!!!! Blessings ABOUND
How wonderful Kimberly! I love the reference to having a "recipe for the next phase of life" - what a beautiful invitation to consider what are the key ingredients we need to nurture in our daily lives in order to create a nurturing/nurtured life. And absolutely this changes depending on the context of our life chapters, so being aware of what chapter we are living, and embracing an awareness that every chapter has different edges, different resource wells, different territory that we are meant to consider and navigate and find our way through with love and heart. Trees and horses! Yes I find them both also such incredible companions through all chapters of life. And such a journey to navigate how they relate with one another in a context that we are participating without necessarily being "in" their conversation until we see their conversation means "food!" rather than companionship :) But I celebrate your willingness to listen and learn from them and find your way to live in harmony through this channel of listening - that is such vital wisdom for these times in particular. We can find our way toward this sense of harmonious existence but it does require surrendering to the much broader inter-species conversation. That is progress!!! And thank you thank you for your joining into the collaborative little corner of the ecochallenge, it will be such a joyful process to hear about your journey in that space and also share what arises over here. With deep gratitude and such heartfelt love -g
